The group

One group to recover, comply and operate

Grupo Ecológico Fátima is a Venezuelan business group that turns industrial and environmental liabilities into recovered value and compliant operations. Under a single responsibility, it brings together environmental and legal consulting and assessment, companies specialized in supply and logistics, remediation and material recovery, and industrial metal recycling, alongside technology partners and accredited professionals.

Our clients deal with one counterpart from assessment to close-out. We coordinate every specialist and answer for the result. With 42 active recovery facilities and operations in Lara, Zulia, Falcón and Monagas, we are close to where liabilities are generated.

Four pillars

Recover, comply, supply and trace.

  • Recover

Crude, metals, equipment and space that produce nothing today regain their value

  • Comply

We assess the risk, and every service is built within the Venezuelan environmental and legal framework

  • Supply

Neither the client’s operation nor ours ever stops for lack of supplies

  • Trace

Every barrel and every ton has a documented origin, route and destination

Group structure

One brand that integrates, companies that each deliver their specialty and partners who join by project.

Every contract identifies which company delivers each part and under which license.

Grupo Ecológico Fátima — the head of the group

It is the main brand and the company that integrates the group. It structures projects, brings together the companies and partners each one needs, incorporates new technologies, provides environmental and legal consulting and risk assessments, and answers to the client as the single counterpart.

Project partners

Technology partners for hydrocarbon recovery, authorized special-waste handlers, registered laboratories, registered environmental consultants, engineering, demolition and marine services firms, and legal advisors. They join each project under the group’s coordination.

How we work

Each service opens the next, and all of them sit under one point of accountability.

The assessment uncovers the liabilities; recovery, remediation and decommissioning close them; monetization turns them into money; and supply keeps the operation running throughout the cycle and delivers the new assets that replace those removed. You can come in at any point: an assessment, a recovery campaign, a batch of scrap or a supply need.

A liability goes out, an asset comes in.

  1. Diagnose
  2. Recover and remediate
  3. Decommission
  4. Monetize
  5. Document
  6. At the center, SABANICA: supply and logistics for the whole cycle. From Monetize, SABANICA supplies the new asset and closes the cycle.
Compliance, safety and traceability

Every ton and every barrel has a documented origin, route and destination.

  • Export authorization

Grupo Ecológico Fátima, SABANICA Suministros and Saneamiento Ambiental Bicentenario hold export authorization approved by the Executive.

  • Licensed execution

Each activity is carried out by the group company or partner that holds the corresponding license, identified in the contract.

  • Traceability by batch

Origin, ownership, weight, classification, transport, destination and settlement.

  • Verified origin

We verify the ownership of every material and know every buyer and seller.

  • Authorized destinations

Waste that cannot be recovered goes only to authorized handlers and facilities, with a certificate of final disposal.

  • Health and safety

Work under the LOPCYMAT (Organic Law on Prevention, Conditions and the Working Environment) and each client’s work permits.

  • Certified management

Our partner C.I. ACA operates with ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) certified systems.
